Enrolment in our online-only training gives you unlimited access to our training academy for 6 months. This option comprises 1 day of Theory Training and 1 day of Practical Training. It’s up to you whether you choose to finish it all in 2 days or spread it out over the entire duration.

Led by industry expert Melissa Hayward, the hybrid course comprises a one-day practical experience, which is done in person, as well as 4-5 hours of bite-sized online study modules which should be completed before the practical day.

After your training, you'll also receive access to our level up modules to take your career to new heights plus detailed video tutorials of all the methods you learned in your practical training to recap.

We offer both types so you can choose the one that best suits your learning style and preferences.

In-person-hybrid

With this type, you complete your theory training online in your own time by watching a series of short videos at your own pace. The theory element comprises 11 bite-size modules, and we recommend a minimum of 3 hours to complete them all. Your practical, in-person training is given over a single day, which is when you'll learn how to apply extensions yourself. Upon successful completion of both elements, you receive your certificate of accreditation. 

Online only

Our online-only training option allows you to complete all the training at your own pace from the comfort of your home. You’ll watch short videos and complete quizzes and fun assignments. You have the option of having your full training kit, with mannequin head, hair and all other necessary materials, delivered directly to you so you can get hands-on by following our detailed video tutorials. The final stage involves you sending us photo and video evidence of your work for assessment. Upon successful completion you will receive your certificate of accreditation. You have access to our online training platform for a full 6 months.

We have you covered when it comes to practical training!

With our in-person programme, you use our mannequin training heads to get hands-on experience without the need for a live model. If opting for online training, you can purchase a discounted kit add-on with a mannequin head that will be delivered to your doorstep along with all your other tools and equipment. 

As with all hands-on professions, practice makes perfect, so we always recommend that you continue practising on friends, family, and clients after your training is complete so you can consolidate your skills and knowledge, build your portfolio and grow your business.

We believe in equipping our students with the best tools and resources, so we provide a comprehensive training kit absolutely free of charge with our in-person training. Worth over €200, the kit contains everything you need to get started in the hair extension industry and you get to take it home with you after the training.

Good news — yes, you can. Our hair extension training courses are open to everyone, regardless of hairdressing experience or background. We cater to all levels of expertise, from complete beginners to fully trained hairdressers. There are no formal entry requirements, and you don't need any prior knowledge or experience in the hairdressing field to enrol in our courses. We provide comprehensive training that covers everything you need to become a successful hair extension technician.

Whether you choose in-person or online, we’re here to make sure your training fits seamlessly into your life. 

We offer one-on-one training seven days a week, so we can easily find a time that suits you. Our group classes are held regularly across Ireland, making it easy to find one near you. If you need more flexibility, our online training allows you to learn at your own pace.

If you’re in receipt of Jobseekers Allowance or certain other social welfare payments, you may be entitled to fully funded training with the Training Support Grant. Contact us or your local Intreo office or social welfare branch for details. If you don't qualify for funding, we offer the option to pay in installments via Klarna.
